Micro Finance – Branch Manager
Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and tech-savvy Micro Finance branch manager to join our growing team. the ideal candidate will have hands on experience in Micro finance or digital lending, combined with strong organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Staff management: Supervise, coach, and develop staff to meet sales goals, ensure adherence to policies, and deliver excellent customer service.
- Financial management: Monitor budgets, control overheads, and ensure accurate financial reporting and balancing of records.
- Operations: Oversee daily operations, including the efficient implementation of loan disbursement and collection procedures.
- Sales and marketing: Develop and implement marketing plans, generate new business for loans and deposits, and promote all services.
- Customer relations: Handle customer complaints and inquiries, build client relationships, and maintain a positive and customer-focused branch approach.
Skill & Experience
- Microfinance or digital lending experience
- Strong Excel/Sheets and database skills
- Comfort with mobile data collection tools
- Proactive, independent, and adaptable in a start‑up
- Problem-solver who can pitch in across teams
- Bonus: familiar with offline-ready, mobile-first systems
- Zoho Books exposure – bonus
- KoboToolbox exposure – bonus
